The Official Number 1 Award

Ed Sheeran Number 1 Award for Bad Habits

When an artist gets to Number 1 on the Official UK Singles or Albums Chart, they are presented with a Number 1 Award. Hundreds of the world's biggest music stars now have one of these on their mantelpiece, from Ed Sheeran to Stormzy, Little Mix to Elton John.

Up until now, these awards have been exclusively available to the artists and their teams that reach Number 1. To mark the 10th birthday of the Official Chart Number 1 Award, for the first time in history, the Number 1 Award is to be made available to fans.

Our current range of fan Number 1 awards, including the Official 70th Anniversary Awards, can be found here.

The Fan Number 1 Award is a smaller, personalised, limited edition replica of the coveted original, especially for fans, available from the Official Charts’ new online store.

The launch of the fan award follows ten years after the Official Number 1 Award was first launched in December 2011, and ushers in the Official Singles Chart’s 70th anniversary year, the 70th birthday coming up in November 2022.

“The feeling of getting a Number 1 single is almost indescribable. It’s awesome, amazing and like a dream come true. - JAY MCGUINESS, THE WANTED

It's the fans that put artists at Number 1, and now for the first time they get to celebrate in their favourite artist's success and own their very own piece of pop history.
